Sep 10, 2018 · InDesign doesn't have such a tool, but you could construct an arc with the help of the pathfinder panel. Then create colored objects and group them. Copy the group to the clipboard, mark the arc and use EDIT > PASTE INTO. The content and the shape remain editable. Need more explanation on how to do that.

Best advice I can give you is to do it in Illustrator. For simple shapes like that you could then copy/paste them in.
